Cambridge startup MC10 Inc., a maker of flexible electronics, raised $2 million in a funding round from Aberdare Ventures of San Francisco. As part of the investment, Aberdare managing partner Paul Klingenstein will join the MC10 board of directors.

Connecticut software company XLerant Inc. has closed a $3 million Series B funding round led by Chrysalis Ventures, the company said Wednesday. The company plans to use the funds to grow sales and marketing efforts in North America.
