Post-buyout, Atrium Medical plans new site
Atrium Medical Corp., the Hudson, N.H.-based medical devices firm acquired by Swedish company Getinge Group in October, will not be building a new facility in Merrimack, N.H. Instead, the company will look to occupy an existing facility in Merrimack, according to a published report.

Dana-Farber lands $10M grant for cancer imaging research
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute was awarded a $10 million grant today from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center to support the expansion of its cancer imaging research program.

Joslin to build new diabetes research center with $10.8M support
The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center awarded a $5 million grant to the Joslin Diabetes Center, which said it plans to match the grant, bringing in a total of $10.8 million to build the Translational Center for the Cure of Diabetes in Boston's Longwood Medical area.
