Accelerated Orthopedic Technologies of Guilford, Conn., a company developing proprietary tools for obtaining, shaping and implanting cartilage grafts, has raised $150,000 in debt financing from a $400,000 offering from two investors, according to federal filings.

Greenskies to put solar panels on 27 Walmart stores
Greenskies Renewable Energy LLC has been tasked with providing crystalline solar panels to more than half of Walmart’s Massachusetts stores. The Middletown, Conn.-based company will help the retail giant become the largest user of solar power in the Bay State, according Walmart Senior Director of Energy David Ozment.

Alexion sees Q1 revenue boost
Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALXN) of Cheshire, Conn., maker of the paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) drug Soliris, on Tuesday reported that in the first quarter of 2012, net product sales reached $244.7 million, an increase of 47 percent from the same period in 2011.
