Leading the charge in the life sciences business at Charles River Associates will be David Campbell.
Campbell, who has written a number of publications on the life sciences industry and led a number of emerging market projects, will be a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Practice as vice president of the London office, Charles River Associates said in a news release.
The former principal from IMS Consulting Group, a biotechnology consulting business, was also the managing partner behind Catenion Strategies, a pharmaceutical and medical products consulting company, where he focused his energy on the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical diagnostic industries.
Campbell started his career working at hospitals and large companies including in various roles at SmithKline Beechams Pharmaceuticals and as senior investigator at GlaxoSmithKline, both in the United Kingdom.
Campbell’s experience as a management consultant in Europe combined with his work at pharmaceutical companies makes him a strong addition to the company, CRA President and CEO Paul Maleh said in a release.
