MITX appoints Grimaldi as chairman

By Michelle Lang

The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) named Joe Grimaldi, CEO and chairman of advertising agency Mullen, as the organization’s new chairman. He takes over the role from Emily Nagle Green, a 2010 Mass High Tech All-Star, who will step down from the post officially in April.

In his new role, Grimaldi will be responsible for directing the operations and strategy of MITX, building community and business support for the organization and providing leadership on the MITX board of directors. He has been a MITX board member and has helped found the organization’s FutureM, the Future of Marketing week-long series of events on marketing, media and technology.

MITX, formed in 1996, is a professional community for the Web and mobile industry, focused on digital marketing, media and technology.
