Startup Watch: Five you should follow

As part of each week’s Startup Report, Mass High Tech highlights five startup companies and their business goals and provides guest access to their company profiles in the New England Tech Directory. With each week’s Startup Watch, Mass High Tech will choose the weekly featured companies by soliciting nominations through a poll of 10 startup companies, with links to their respective websites.

AcceptU:  Founded in 2009, Boston-based AcceptU aims to help prospective students connect with admissions counselors for college and universities they are interested in attending.

CampusEmployer:  CampusEmployer, a Boston startup launched in 2011, is an employment website intended to connect employers with college students.

DivyaEnergy:  Founded in 2010, Divya Energy of Cambridge serves as an online marketplace for solar panel installation.

Klypper:  Klypper is a video-sharing platform aimed at creating a “video conversation” complete with user ability to include texts, edits, graphics and highlights. The Chelmsford startup launched in 2011.

LiveMind LLC:  Westport, Conn.-based LiveMind has created an online learning marketplace in which users may create and teach a class on any subject, via the LiveMind platform, and offer it for free or for a price. The company was founded in 2010.
