The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Information and Technology has awarded a $14.7 million contract to the High Performance Technologies Group of Dynamics Research Corp. (DRC), a consulting, engineering and IT firm in Andover.
The contract, applicable for one year with an option to add another four years, calls for DRC to run and manage the Budget Tracking Tool web application for the Office of Information and Technology. The tool gives users real-time access to budget, reporting and management operations, DRC said in a news release. The company has already held a five-year contract with the office for the same purpose.
DRC acquired High Performance Technologies Inc., a provider of high-end tech services for military and federal health care markets, for $143 million in June.
In March, DRC won a share of a $4 billion contract with the Internal Revenue Service. Founded in 1955, DRC provides its IT support services to federal and state governments.
