BuySellAds buys up Fusion Ads, Beacon Ad Network

By Michelle Lang

BuySellAds, the Cambridge startup focused on easing the process of buying and selling online ads, has just added two new acquisitions to support its goal. The company bought Fusion Ads, a one-ad-per-page network, and Beacon Ad Network, a Christian-focused ad network, for reportedly just under $400,000.

Fusion Ads builds on BuySellAds’ two other one-ad-per-page buys – Ad Packs and Yoggrt, the company said on its blog.

BSA’s buy of Beacon Ad Network is for half of the network, BuySellAds noted in its blog.

BostInnovation first reported the all-cash price tag of “what appears” to be a value of just under $400,000.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Todd Garland, BuySellAds has created a software as a service product in which advertisers choose a website to host their ad, then pay for the ad at a set price determined by the host website.
