XLerant shifts chairman, CEO roles

By Michelle Lang

XLerant Inc., a Norwalk, Conn.-based software company, has shuffled its executive team. As a result, XLerant has a new board chairman in Jim Perakis, former Hyperion Solutions chairman and CEO, and a new CEO with Ted Dacko, previously CEO of HealthMedia.

The shift in positions follows the company’s news in January announcing Dacko as executive chairman and Perakis as a new board member.  The announcement at the time also named William Wilcoxson, former general partner of Axiom Venture Partners, as CEO.

XLerant makes corporate budget preparation software for midsize to large companies. In addition to the CEO and chairman news, the company also appointed Sal Arena as vice president of sales and Joanne Brunn as vice president of client services.
