Game developer PlayLore brings in $3M

PlayLore Inc., an outsourced game developer based in Westport, Conn., and Recife, Brazil, and operating under the name PlayLore Gameworks, has reported a $3 million equity funding, according to a document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Founded this year, the company is behind the Facebook-based soccer game Football Nation.

The SEC filing lists participants including CEO and president Zack Alcyone and angel investor Carlo Dapuzzo of Brazil.
