Mass High Tech has announced the finalists for the inaugural New England CIO Innovation Awards, being presented at the New England CIO Innovation Summit on June 16, in partnership with Boston SIM.

The winners will be introduced at an awards lunch during the summit at the Babson Executive Conference Center.

The finalists in the three categories, selected by a volunteer panel of CIOs and advisors, (presented alphabetically) are:

Martin King, Gurnet Consulting

How will Chinese investment in U.S. cleantech companies affect the U.S. cleantech space?

Great. The funds mean that development in cleantech that might otherwise not happen by U.S. companies will move forward.
Fine. An innovative company needs funding, and China has it - what's the problem?
Not well. Investment from China implies results going back to China.
Badly. They will all end either with failed firms like Solyndra, or in lawsuits like AMSC
