By Michelle Lang

Burlington healthcare consulting firm Arcadia Solutions is acquiring Chelmsford-based IT health-care services provider Concordant Inc. to address the ambulatory healthcare IT market.

The two companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal in a news release today. They did note that the newly merged companies would operate as Arcadia Solutions.

Arcadia was acquired in 2007 by Pohlad Companies, a Minneapolis firm that owns companies in the financial, retail, automotive, technology, entertainment and commercial real estate industries.

Concordant works with healthcare organizations to initiate and manage their health information technology setup. The company’s 10-year history spans work with about 2,500 organizations.
