Abine Inc., The Online Privacy Company, has appointed a new president and CEO in William Kerrigan, the former president and CEO of Montreal Internet security firm RadialPoint.
Founded in 2009, Abine is a Cambridge developer of website privacy tools for consumers.
Prior to his most recent experience at RadialPoint, Kerrigan worked as executive vice president of worldwide consumer business at McAfee Inc. Earlier CEO and executive positions include roles at Shaman Corp., Corporate Software and IBM. He is a current board member at Radialpoint and previous board member at Carbonite Inc.
Abine develops such privacy subscription services as PrivacySuite and DeleteMe. The company was voted a Mass High Tech Startup to Watch last July.
