Solectria to bring inverters to Mass. solar projects

By Kyle Alspach

Solectria Renewables LLC, a maker of solar power inverters based in Lawrence, said that it will be supplying inverters to 5.3 megawatts worth of Massachusetts solar projects.

Solectria said its customer for the inverters is Tecta Solar New England of Billerica, an engineering, procurement and construction company.

The photovoltaic systems will be installed at four Massachusetts locations and are scheduled to be completed by September, Solectria said.

Solectria recently announced that its Lawrence facility has expanded to 40,000 square feet from 28,000 square feet, as the company has seen fast growth in demand for its inverters in recent years.
