By Michelle Lang

IdentityTruth Inc., an identity fraud detection services firm in Waltham, has been acquired by CSIdentity Corp. for an undisclosed amount.

The buyer is an identity theft protection and fraud detection company in Austin, Texas.

The Texas company now has 80 employees between its Austin, San Diego and Waltham offices. A news release from CSIdentity did not mention layoffs or the IdentityTruth staff in particular.

IdentityTruth was founded in 2006 by Steven D. Domenikos, formerly of TeleGea Inc. and EpiCON Inc. He previously sold EpiCON in 2000 and TeleGea in 2005. The company’s prior partnerships include Experian, LexisNexis, American International Group Inc. and RelyData LLC.
