Parametric Technology Corp. (PTC) has appointed Jeffrey D. Glidden as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Needham product development and lifecycle management software firm, effective Sept. 27.
Glidden joins PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC) having served most recently as CFO at Airvana Inc. Prior to that, he was senior vice president, finance and operations, and CFO at RSA Security and as vice president and CFO of Stream International. Glidden earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science degree from Union College.
Glidden will replace Neil Moses, whose resignation was announced in May, though not effective until Nov. 15. He served as PTC’s CFO since 2003.
Moses’ resignation coincided with PTC’s announcement that president and chief operating officer James E. Heppelmann would add CEO to his title, while C. Richard Harrison, former CEO and chairman, would become executive chairman.
