Interactive Data Corp. has appointed Mason Slaine to lead the Bedford-based financial marketing data and analytics firm as chairman, president and CEO. He replaces Raymond D’Arcy, who will hold the vice chairman position at Interactive Data.
Slaine joins the company having previously served as chairman, CEO and co-founder of electronic publishing firm Information Holdings and president and CEO of Thomson Financial, which acquired Information Holdings. He has been chairman of MLM Information Services, a corporate tax compliance software company he co-founded with private equity firm Warburg Pincus in 2005.
Former CEO D’Arcy will serve on the Interactive Data board of directors and will operate as a senior advisor to the company’s major clients, according to a news release today.
Interactive Data announced in May that the company was to be acquired by Silver Lake and Warburg Pincus for $3.4 billion. At the time, the company noted that, once fully acquired, it would continue to base its headquarters in Bedford and would keep its senior management team. The buyout was completed in July.
