New England technology companies attract investment in a wide variety of companies during a typical week. Here’s a sample of what showed up in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission “Reg D” filings in mid-August.

Technology: The company develops photovoltaic manufacturing systems.

Technology: The company has built a ticketing system designed to integrate the high-speed rail systems criss-crossing Europe.

Technology: Avantra is working on protein biomarker analysis products originally developed by Decision Biomarkers.

$5.2 million

Technology: The company offers a software radio to provide RF and cellular coverage over broad or rural areas.

Technology: The company uses gas cluster ion beam technology to process implantable medical devices.

Technology: Company website says it has technology to increase the efficiency of signal and data processing by orders of magnitude over existing solutions.
