Founded: 1998
Top executive: Leonora Valvo, CEO
Industry: SaaS-based online meeting planning
Etouches LLC launched 12 years ago as an independent meeting planning company, but has transitioned in recent years into a Software as a Service (SaaS) company offering a suite of integrated event management and marketing tools that customers use to support the various phases of an event lifecycle. The etouches suite and the individual offerings are available in 27 languages. The company is looking at a $3 billion events sector, and already lists major customers such as Audi, MasterCard, Google, Hewlett-Packard Co. and Dell Computer Inc. In 2009, eTouches was named an Innovator of 2009 by Trade Show Executive for increasing ROI with its web-based online registration and event management tools.
Officials in Connecticut say there is tremendous opportunity for growth of the event software market segment and etouches is positioned to capitalize on that growth and be a significant player.
The company was founded by Valvo, who previously had launched several successful companies in the travel and conference industries.
From the top, Leonora Valvo: “At a time when companies are scrutinizing their operations, processes and costs more than ever, etouches appears to be the right product at the right time as a SaaS-based online event registration and event management solution. And the recent closing of our initial round of venture capital funding, we believe, is further validation of our market and product positioning. “
