Denmark-based CLC bio, a life sciences services company providing hardware, software and data analytics, is expanding its presence in Cambridge. The company, which previously shared space in Cambridge, has opened a new location in Kendall Square at 10 Rogers St. The location is operating as the headquarters, for North and South America, for the company’s sales, marketing and support operations.
Dan Conway, CLC bio’s president of the Americas, said the company is expanding and looking to hire sales representatives with a life sciences background, as well as administrative positions.
“Our customers and partners are clearly members of a global industry and we strongly believe that we need a significant presence in both North and South America in order to serve their interests” he said in a statement.
The company also opened new offices in Washington, D.C., and Germantown, Maryland.
CLC bio’s North American operations launched in 2006.
CLC bio counts among its customers the National Institutes of Health, the University of Rhode Island, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Maryland’s J. Craig Venture Institute.
