North Andover-based Flight Landata Inc. has hired J. Andrew Eichelberger as director of engineering. In this new position he will manage the company’s engineering process, product commercialization and sustainment efforts. Eichelberger joins Flight Landata after serving 10 years with Raytheon Co. Most recently he was Systems Engineering & Integration CPT Lead at Raytheon and led a 300-plus person systems engineering team in developing, integrating and testing the AN/TPY-2 radar. Previously he was chief engineer for Raytheon’s Mitsubishi Electric (MELCO) Partnership.
Cleantech
Oil and hazardous waste management firm ENPRO Services Inc. of Newburyport has named Greg Vorbach to its technical services division as project manager. Vorbach will provide technical and management support on projects in all of the service areas provided by ENPRO, including site remediation, storage tank removal and installation, waste management, emergency response and site assessment. He came to ENPRO from Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) in South Berwick, Maine, where he also served as a project manager.
SBE Inc. of Barre, Vt., has named Jon Bereisa as senior technical advisor, assisting SBE in strategically advancing their technological position in the electric vehicle/ hybrid electric vehicle marketplace. Bereisa brings 35 years of executive experience at General Motors to SBE. He was the systems architect responsible for the creation of the Chevrolet Volt extended range electric vehicle, the chief engineer propulsion systems for GM’s EV1, and the S-10 Electric Pickup, and the Director Advanced Engineering and Technology Strategy Powertrain for the development of GM’s hydrogen fuel cell vehicle technology.

Robert K. Shibuya has been named an advisory board member at Boston-based CresaPartners LLC, a corporate real estate advisory firm exclusively representing tenants. Shibuya, a 27-year industry professional, will provide input on strategic market development, tenant advisory services, and transaction management best practices. Shibuya currently oversees acquisitions and asset management for the Western U.S. for Emmes Asset Management in Newport Beach, Calif. Before that, he served as chief operating officer — Americas region for DTZ Holdings. He was also the managing director/principal in charge of global corporate advisory services and capital markets for Trammell Crow Co., where he led the corporate advisory services.
The law firm Cooley LLP has added Michael N. Sheetz to the firm as a partner in its litigation department in Boston. Sheetz is a seasoned commercial litigator specializing in employment law, as well as sports and entertainment industry-related matters. Sheetz has more than 20 years of business litigation experience in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and throughout the country. His employment litigation background includes a significant focus on non-competition and trade secret matters. In addition, Sheetz represents top athletes and sports organizations in a wide range of matters, including the Pacific-10 Conference, Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, Red Sox player Josh Beckett and Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam. Prior to joining Cooley, Sheetz was a litigation partner at Nixon Peabody. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Gerald M. Haines II has joined Mercury Computer Systems Inc. as senior vice president, corporate development. Haines will be responsible for Mercury’s corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, and will also serve as the Chelmsford company’s chief legal officer. Prior to joining Mercury, Haines was executive vice president and chief legal officer of cellulosic biofuels company Verenium Corp. Previously, Haines served as executive vice president of strategic affairs of Enterasys Networks Inc.. Before that he was vice president and general counsel at Applied Extrusion Technologies Inc.
Luminus Devices Inc. of Billerica has named William Wholley as director of sales - Eastern/Southeast Region and Warren Forman as director of sales - Northeastern Region. Prior to joining Luminus, Wholley was East Region sales director for Iwasaki/EYE Lighting, a manufacturer of lighting products based in Cleveland. He has extensive senior level management experience with GE Lighting and Panduit and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University. Prior to joining Luminus, Forman held several senior sales management and product development engineering positions with Texas Instruments in the U.S. and abroad. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and an MBA from the University of Dallas.

Bedford-based Progress Software Corp. has hired Frank Sacco as regional vice president and head of the North American Financial Services business unit. Sacco has more than 25 years of global field management experience in the financial sector. In recent years, he built a capital markets alliance eco-system at Sun Financial Services and doubled revenues during 2008 and 2009. While at Mercator Software, Sacco built a financial services sales force.
VFA Inc., a Boston developer of software for facilities capital planning and spend management, has named Bill Olsen as senior vice president of product development. Olsen was previously the director of engineering at RSA, where he was responsible for development of the enVision product, as well as for architecture and engineering staff management. He was also vice president of engineering at Centerstone Software and director/chief architect and original team member for the digital business at Iron Mountain. Olsen earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering technology from Northeastern University.

Watertown-based athenahealth Inc., a provider of Internet-based business services to physician practices, has named Ed Park, athenahealth’s chief technology officer, as the company’s chief operating officer, replacing David E. Robinson. Jeremy Delinsky, currently senior vice president of athenaNet Intelligence, will be appointed CTO. Derek Hedges, who serves as senior vice president of business development and product strategy, will take on the role of senior vice president of corporate development from Nancy G. Brown, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities. Park, who joined athenahealth in 1998, is best known for co-creating its national physician network. Delinsky joined athenahealth in 2004, and Hedges joined athenahealth in 2005. During his tenure, Hedges led its channel partnerships as well as its strategic enterprise sales organization.
Internet marketing software maker WordStream Inc. has named Constance Stack as chief revenue officer. Stack joined Boston-based WordStream in 2009. She is an entrepreneur and start-up specialist, having founded her own company, ManageContacts.com, which was acquired by Consumer Finance Advisor Inc. in 2007. Stack has served on the executive teams of other startups, including Optas, acquired by Dendrite International. Stack was previously CEO of Consumer Finance Advisor, which was acquired by Affiliate Media Network, which opened the door to her joining WordStream. Stack has a business degree from Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada.
Nanotech
Carl Zeiss SMT Inc. of Peabody has named Emile James (Jim) Pouquette, a former FEI Co. executive, as senior vice president sales of the Nano Technology Systems division. Most recently, Pouquette served as FEI’s vice president of sales and service, Asia, and president of FEI Japan. Prior to his six-year employment at FEI, he served as a senior director of sales at KLA-Tencor. Carl Zeiss SMT is a division of Swiss optical and opto-electronic giant The Carl Zeiss Group.
