Health care industry eyes iPad
Mall Networks, the Lexington-based provider of retail loyalty programs, today said that it is rebranding under the name Cartera Commerce. At the same time, the company said that its private label shopping platform and performance advertising network now reach over 150 million consumers through more than 1,000 merchant partners.
The company also reported revenue growth of more than 100 percent in Fiscal 2010, without specifying revenue figures. However, Cartera did list some of its key customer relationships, including the Delta SkyMiles Shopping program, JPMorgan Chase’s Chase RealCash and USAA’s highly successful MemberShop program.
The company said its new name comes from the Spanish word cartera, which means “wallet,” and “reinforces the company’s focus on providing value to consumers, retailers, banks and loyalty programs through targeted shopping programs.”
Cartera also announced a $6.5 million Series C funding round, which had been reported on based on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings last month.
In a related announcement, the company released Cartera Version 5, a suite of multi-channel shopping and merchant-funded rewards offerings. The company said that Version 5 of the suite extends personalized, targeted shopping experiences and marketing programs across multiple-channels.
