Open-source content management firm Nuxeo lands $3.3M

By Michelle Lang

Nuxeo, a Burlington maker of open source enterprise content management software and services, has raised $3.3 million in venture capital, led by OTC Asset Management. The funds round out the company’s total $5.9 million Series A financing round.

The funding will support partnership initiatives, application development, marketing and product launches and new hires.

Nuxeo, which has its headquarters in Paris, has formed the Nuxeo Galaxy partner program, a content-driven open-source platform for consultants, systems integrators and application developers.

The company raised its first tranche of Series A funding in December 2008 when OTC Asset Management led a $2.6 million fundraising.
