
EClinicalWorks LLC, an electronic medical records and medical practice management company, has announced plans to expand its headquarters in Westborough, enabling the company to add new hires on pace with its growth. EClinicalWorks also announced today that a deal with non-profit organization NYC Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (NYC REACH) which has chosen the Westborough company’s electronic medical records for use in New York City.
The company bought a 100,000 sq. ft. facility, planned for completed construction early in 2011. It maintains other offices in New York, Alpharetta, Ga., and Pleasanton, Calif. – eClinicalWorks-opens-two-new-locations.html">two offices opened last fall.
“With 1,100 employees and the largest Software as a Service (SaaS) network in the industry, the building will permit immediate growth and future growth,” said eClinicalWorks CEO and co-founder Girish Kumar Navani in a press release.
The NYC REACH partnership is an extension of eClinicalWorks’ existing relationship with the organization, which it has maintained since 2007. The collaboration involves deploying electronic health record technology in New York City. NYC REACH received a $21.7 million grant from the U.S. Health and Human Services department, enabling the nonprofit to continue its partnership with eClinicalWorks, the company noted.
