Couchange.org: Couchange.org develops a universal donation platform that allows people to donate abandoned assets to charities. Such donations include frequent flier miles and giftcard balances.
RedPint: The Boston-based company was founded in 2009 as a social networking service for craft beer enthusiasts.
Skynja LLC: Founded in 2009, Skynja is a Boston-based network for environmentally conscious individuals seeking to exchange ideas on energy consumption and conservation.
StarStreet Sports: Cambridge-based StarStreet is developing an online virtual stock market where users can buy stock on major sport teams. Currently in beta mode, the company, which was founded in 2009, will eventually allow users to invest with real money.
