Lewtan Technologies relocates headquarters, upgrades space
Lewtan Technologies Inc., represented by Joe Sciolla, Shawn McDonough and Barry Dube of CresaPartners in Boston, recently signed a lease of 20,501 square feet at 400-2 Totten Pond Road in Waltham, where Lewtan has relocated its corporate headquarters. Lewtan moved from 300 5th Ave. in Waltham. Lewtan Technologies, a provider of workflow products to the global asset securitization industry, will occupy the entire fourth floor of the four-story building. The buildout includes collaborative work areas; soft seating; green initiatives; and an open environment, with cubicles designed to allow staff to view the entire area. The landlord, BPG Properties Ltd., was represented by Rob Walles and Matt Siciliano of CB Richard Ellis.
AMD Global Telemedicine moves N.E. HQ to Chelmsford
Jones Lang LaSalle has completed a lease for 8,654 square feet of office space at 321 Billerica Road in Chelmsford to AMD Global Telemedicine Inc. The two-story building on five acres is owned by RREEF. The first floor space will serve as AMD’s New England headquarters. The firm is relocating from Chelmsford Mills in North Chelmsford. Occupancy is scheduled for this quarter. Senior vice president Peter Richardson, assistant vice president Troy Coady, and vice president Flory McCarthy negotiated on behalf of the owner. AMD Global was represented by the team of Brian Tisbert, Matt Daniels, and Chris Lawrence of Colliers Meredith & Grew. Other tenants in the 70,800-square-foot office building include Biscom, Schafer Corp., Our Stage, and Korde Associates.

MRV Communications now calling Chelmsford home
Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC brokered a new 21,148-square-foot lease for MRV Communications Inc. at 300 Apollo Drive in Chelmsford. MRV Communications, which is moving from Littleton, has leased office space on the building’s third floor. The location will house members of the networking company’s engineering, operations and customer service teams. Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Brian McKenzie, partner; John Wilson, partner; and James Lipscomb, senior vice president, represented MRV Communications in the transaction. The building’s landlord, Chelmsford Associates LLC, was represented by Lincoln Property Co.

Metal Oxygen Separation Technologies moves into Natick headquarters
T3 Advisors has secured a three-year lease in Natick for Metal Oxygen Separation Technologies Inc. (MOxST), developer of new technologies for producing high-purity metals and pure oxygen gas directly from metal oxides at low cost and with zero direct environmental emissions. The 10,639-square-foot headquarters facility will provide MOxST with greater flexibility as their firm grows. T3 team members David Bergeron and Jon Frisch represented MOxST in the negotiations for the space at 11 Michigan Drive in Natick, while Jake Parsons of Parsons Commercial Group represented the landlord, Kittredge Equipment Co. Inc.

Qualcomm makes the call to move from Concord to Maynard
Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC has completed a new 25,952-square-foot lease transaction at 90 Central St., Boxborough that brings Qualcomm Inc. into office space on the building’s first floor. The company is moving to 90 Central Street from its current location in Concord. Qualcomm develops digital wireless communications products and services. The 90 Central Street building, which is owned by Piedmont Office Realty Trust Inc., was constructed in 2001 as a build-to-suit for Agilent Technologies, and consists of three floors and 175,000 square feet of office space. The Richards Barry Joyce & Partners team of John Wilson, Brian McKenzie, James Lipscomb and Robert Byrne represented Piedmont Office Realty Trust in the transaction. Qualcomm was represented by Stephen Cook and Jack Kerrigan of Grubb & Ellis.
