Raytheon slides Yuse into Space and Airborne Systems president role

Raytheon Co. reports it has named Richard Yuse president of its Space and Airborne Systems unit, replacing Jon Jones, who died last week.
Yuse has worked at Raytheon since 1976. He previously served as president of Raytheon Technical Services Co. in Reston, Va. Prior to that, he served as vice president of integrated air defense at the Waltham-based defense company’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. He has also served as vice president of IDS’ missile defense business.
Yuse holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.
El Segundo, Calif.-based Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems provides sensor systems intended to create a network-centric battlefield.
The company also named John Harris president of Raytheon Technical Services in Virginia to replace Yuse. Harris joined Raytheon in 1983. Harris most recently served as vice president of Raytheon Contracts and Supply Chain.
David Wilkins will replace Harris as vice president of Raytheon Contracts and Supply Chain. Wilkins, who joined Raytheon in 2002 as director of Contracts for Command, Control and Communications Systems in Marlborough, previously served as vice president contracts for Raytheon’s Network Centric Systems.
