Odyssey takes in $48M Navy tactical data deal

By Brendan Lynch

Odyssey Systems Consulting Group has brought in $47.8 million from the U.S. Navy for engineering on tactical data link systems, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Under the contract, Wakefield-based Odyssey will provide maintenance and modification of the TDL computer programs, life cycle services, research, analysis, systems engineering, software design and engineering, configuration management, modeling and simulation, and human factors engineering.

In September, Odyssey landed a contract worth a potential $450 million from the U.S. Army for consulting services on missile defense technology.

Work on the contract will support projects run by the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and Foreign Military Sales programs.
