Optiwind Corp.: Torrington, Conn.-based Optiwind makes medium-sized wind turbines for schools, businesses and government facilities. The company was founded in 2007.
OutSmart Power Systems: Founded in 2008, OutSmart’s technology uses a buildings wiring as a real-time power management network. The company is based in Natick.
SunBug Solar LLC: Somerville-based SunBug develops solar energy systems for the home. The company was founded in 2009.
