Optics 1 Inc. has brought in $37.8 million from the U.S. Navy for thermal imaging systems to be used on night-vision goggles, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
Under the deal, the Manchester, N.H.-based optics technology maker will provide the Navy with a maximum of 6,600 of the its Clip-on Thermal Imager systems, which fit onto the AN/PVS-15A night vision goggle.
