FEMA awards IT contract to Dynamics Research

Dynamics Research Corp. reports it has landed $1.2 million from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency for IT services.

Under the contract, Dynamics Research (Nasdaq: DRCO) will provide program and task management services and logistics, analysis and evaluation support to FEMA’s Office of External Affairs. The contract is the Andover-based company’s first with the Office of External Affairs, which provides communications strategy, message coordination and analysis for the federal agency.

Last month, Dynamics Research took in almost $23 million in deals. The company landed $15.4 million from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for IT security services and $7.4 million from Computer Sciences Corp. for support of the Weapon System Management Information System, a parts and weaponry lifecycle software tracking program for the U.S. Air Force.
