Compliance software firm Lumigent lands $3M

By Galen Moore

Lumigent Technologies Inc. has raised $3 million in equity financing, the company reported in a regulatory filing posted Thursday.

The $3 million appears to be the remaining tranche of a $6 million recap backed by North Bridge Venture Partners, which was first reported in January. Former backers Greylock Partners and Solstice Capital did not return to invest in the company in the recap round.

According to the filing, Lumigent is posting between $1 million and $5 million in revenue, annually.

Lumigent makes compliance and reporting software. The company has so far raised at least $26.8 million in venture capital, including the latest $6 million round. Representatives for the company could not be reached in time for this article.
