SeeWhy adds $2M to web marketing software firm’s coffers

By Galen Moore

SeeWhy Inc. has pulled in $2 million in an inside investment round from existing backers, the company announced today, and it plans to add additional investors in the coming year.

SeeWhy makes web marketing software designed to improve sales conversion rates for website visitors. The Andover-based company in May announced a $4.5 million financing from venture capital firms Logispring, Pentech Ventures and Delta Partners, as well as Scottish Enterprise, Scotland’s government economic development agency.

SeeWhy launched in June its free abandonment tracking service, called Abandonment Tracker Free, which follows web analytics to find abandoned websites, online forms, applications and registrations and convert to customers.

Founded in 2003, the company operates an engineering division in Edinburgh, Scotland.
