Broshy named Providence Equity senior advisor

Eran Broshy has taken a senior advisor position with Providence Equity Partners, a private equity investment firm specializing in media, entertainment, communications and information companies.
Broshy previously served as CEO of inVentive Health Inc., where he remains executive chairman. Prior to his career at inVentive, Broshy was a partner at The Boston Consulting Group, and before that, president and CEO of biotech firm Coelacanth Corp.
Broshy is a board member of Neurogen Corp., Magellan Health Services and Simon Wiesenthal Center’s NY Executive Board.
Broshy earned an MBA degree from Harvard University, a master’s degree from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from MIT.
Providence Equity Partners, founded in 1989, manages funds with about $21 billion in equity commitments and have invested in more than 100 companies.
