CA Inc. is a global information technology software titan, and its charitable reach is also international. But the company’s Framingham operations are committed to growing its charitable outreach every year. For example, CA has been supporting Boston Digital Bridge Foundation since 2007 and to date has contributed $150,000 to that organization that provides technology training and computer equipment to underserved communities in the Boston area.
In addition, as part of the company’s CA Together in Action program, CA’s Framingham employees participated in Earth Day in April in a cleanup effort at Carol Getchell Nature Trail.
“CA employees have a long history of giving back to their communities,” said Anne Marie Agnelli, vice president, communications and community relations for CA. “Since CA is also dedicated to the communities where we live and work, we support a number of organizations in the areas of health and human services, arts and culture and the environment.”
CA executives also sit on boards at Close Up Foundation, PENCIL and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, among others.

Interesting philanthropic activities: CA’s Framingham employees have either volunteered with or made donations to many local organizations, some of which include Framingham Public Library, United Way of Tri-County, Boys & Girls Clubs, Dress for Success, Habitat for Humanity, New Eyes for the Needy, Toys for Tots, Junior Achievement and Red Cross blood drives.
