2009 Tech Citizenship honoree: KDSA Consulting LLC

The organizations that KDSA Consulting LLC touches with its corporate-giving efforts are as close as next door to the company and its employees, and as far away as across the globe. In the same year, KDSA has donated to Health Care Nepal, helping bring needed medical services to the Himalayas, and to Reading Pop Warner, helping local children get and stay involved in healthy activity.

Nonprofits have long been a focus of KDSA, and it counts those groups among not only the recipients of its charity but also its clients. The company has traditionally offered its information technology, network and business management services to the nonprofit sector. According to Dawn Mortimer, principal, KDSA lends the most support to organizations that serve children and families or people with disabilities.

“An opportunity to be on-site at these organizations and to witness firsthand the amazing ways in which they serve individuals and families,” Mortimer said. “Understanding the importance of their missions and the vital role they play in our society motivates us to give back and do what we can to help.”
