RXi Pharmaceuticals Corp., an RNAi-focused biopharmaceutical firm in Worcester, has appointed Noah Beerman as president and CEO. Co-founder, former president and CEO Tod Woolf will continue in his scientific advisory board member role.
The company said in a press release that the change in leadership was planned as part of a strategy to move RXi’s research into product development and therapeutic collaboration.

Prior to his role at Indevus, Beerman was vice president of venture firm Technology Management and Funding, where he oversaw the biotechnology portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Creative BioMolecules, Sandoz AG and Repligen.
