Dynamics Research Corp. reports it has landed $3.9 million for program management services from a nonprofit dedicated to treating soldiers with traumatic brain injuries.
Under the deal, which has one base year and one option year, Dynamics Research (Nasdaq: DRCO) will perform program management for a new research center. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a New York-based nonprofit, is building the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), an advanced facility dedicated to research, diagnosis and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury and psychological health issues.
The deal was administered through Tricare, the U.S. military’s health-care plan.
In August, Dynamics Research landed $3.4 million from the U.S. Air Force for engineering and program management. Under the deal, Dynamics Research will work on the Air Force’s Global Cyberspace Integration Center, providing engineering services and program management support to the Air Combat Command Tactical Satellite Terminals and the Single Integrated Air Picture program.
