Law firm Burns & Levinson LLP has added intellectual property attorneys Deborah J. Peckham and Ronda P. Moore to the firm. Peckham and Moore previously practiced at the law firms K&L Gates LLP and the former Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP. Peckham concentrates on intellectual property counseling and enforcement, with a focus on strategic acquisition and maintenance of domestic and international property assets. She received her J.D., from Boston College Law School in 1993 and her A.B., cum laude, from the University of Michigan in 1983. Moore works in all aspects of intellectual property. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1998, her D.V.M from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1976, and her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Vermont in 1972.
Integrity Interactive Corp., a Waltham provider of technology services that help global corporations manage and mitigate the risk of compliance failures and scandals, has hired that Tom Anderson as president and CEO. Prior to joining Integrity, Anderson was senior vice president, direct to consumer channel, at SLM Corp. (commonly known as Sallie Mae Inc.) and president, CEO, and member of the board at Upromise Inc., which was acquired by SLM Corp. in 2006. At Integrity, Anderson joins Carl Nelson, who founded Integrity in 1999 and currently serves as chairman.
Everything Channel of Framingham has named Kevin McCluskey sales director of the Everything Channel Events team. In this newly created position, McCluskey will be responsible for directing the sales strategy for all channel and IT executive events. Prior to Everything Channel, McCluskey was the senior director — global client management at Keane Inc. Previously, McCluskey was the vice president/regional director of sales — New England for Compuware Corp. Earlier in his career he was employed with IONA Technologies Inc., Computer Associates International, International Data Group, Hearst Business Media and Peconic Bay Broadcasting: WBAZ-FM.

Punchbowl Software Inc. of Framingham, which developed the website MyPunchbowl.com, has hired Mike Ford as vice president of business development. Ford will be part of a management team responsible for driving sales, traffic and strategic partnerships. Ford brings experience in sales and business development in social media, search marketing and ad networks. Previously, he was founder and CEO of TownConnect, a social-local networking site, and senior vice president for sales and marketing at Did-it Search Marketing in New York. He also led vertical business development for Quigo Technologies (acquired by AOL LLC) and was the founder of Computer.com. He earned a BA in English from the University of Albany and an MBA from Boston College. MyPunchbowl.com is a site designed to help consumers plan parties with ideas, online invitations, favors, gift registries and photo/video sharing.
Video games
Waltham-based Blue Fang Games LLC has named Eduardo Baraf as the studio’s director, online/mobile. Baraf is responsible for end-to-end product development for online and mobile platforms. Prior to joining Blue Fang Games, Baraf was director of product management at Tabula Digita, responsible for its PC and Casual Online products in the educational game space. Prior to Tabula Digita, Baraf was studio head at Mind Control Software where he oversaw all of Mind Control’s development efforts and day-to-day studio operations.
Telecom
Empirix Inc. of Bedford has named Rob Markovich as general manager for the company’s network assurance solutions business unit. Previously, Markovich was co-founder and executive at service level management pioneer Visual Networks. In addition, Markovich was co-founder and CEO of wireless network management startup Network Chemistry, later acquired by Aruba Networks. Markovich also served as CEO of wireless convergence startup, Agito Networks. Markovich began his career as a network engineer, supporting the global network of Fortune 50 conglomerate Dupont Co. He later moved into product management and marketing for network test leader Acterna.
Wireless
Robert Donahue has joined M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. of Lowell as chief strategy officer. Donahue is responsible for leading M/A-COM Tech’s efforts in targeting faster growth markets where the company’s technology provides a competitive advantage. Most recently he was executive vice president of sales and marketing, business development and chief strategy officer at WIN Semiconductor. Prior to that, Donahue was director of marketing at Hittite Microwave Inc. His career also includes approximately nine years with M/A-COM Tech’s IC business where he served in various engineering and product line management roles, and 10 years at Raytheon Co. in various engineering leadership positions.
Hardware
Xenith LLC, a Lowell company that applies technology to make safer sports equipment, has named Peter Martin as president and general manager. Previously Martin served as president of The Beacon Group, a logistics solution company, and prior to this, he held various senior positions at Welch’s Foods, including senior vice president of supply chain and technology. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and has completed several executive training programs at Harvard Business School and the Darden Business School.
Artel Video Systems has hired Gary Schutte for the role of vice president of sales. Schutte will join Boxborough-based Artel in an executive role responsible for leading the sales team. Schutte has been involved in the video hardware market as a sales executive for more than 20 years. His most recent position was vice president of sales for the Central US with Harris Corp. broadcast division. Schutte holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s in speech communications from Northern Illinois University.
Medical devices
Bedford’s Insulet Corp. has named Peter J. Devlin as chief commercial officer, leading the company’s sales and marketing, business development, clinical research and customer care operations. Devlin spent the last 11 years at Abbott Laboratories, most recently serving as divisional vice president of global strategic marketing, diabetes care. Previously, he served as marketing manager of i-STAT Corp., which was acquired by Abbott. Prior to i-STAT, Devlin spent eight years at C.R. Bard Inc.
Alternative energy
Gloucester’s Free Flow Power Corp. has added J. Mark Robinson to the company’s advisory board. Robinson retired in June as the director of the office of energy projects at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where he was responsible for FERC’s regulatory avpproval of new energy infrastructure development projects, including hydropower projects, transmission facilities, gas pipelines, liquefied natural gas terminals and certain forms of energy storage facilities. Robinson is currently the principal of JMR Energy Infra, which provides strategic consulting services concerning the development of major energy infrastructure.
Life sciences
Satori Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Cambridge-based developer of therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders, has added Steven Holtzman, CEO and co-founder of Infinity Pharmaceuticals, to its board of directors. Prior to co-founding Infinity in 2001, from 1994-2001 Holtzman served as chief business officer of Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Millennium, from 1986-1994, he was a founder of DNX Corp, the first commercial developer of transgenic animal technology. From 1996-2001, Holtzman served as a presidential appointee to the National Bioethics Advisory Commission.
