Startup Watch: Five you should follow

As part of each week’s Startup Report, Mass High Tech highlights five startup companies, and their business goals, that are profiled in the New England Tech Directory. With each week's Startup Watch, Mass High Tech will choose the weekly featured companies by soliciting nominations through a poll of 10 companies, with links to their profiles in the New England Tech Directory. Actifio Inc.:   Weston-based Actifio is a Weston-based IT storage startup. The company was founded in 2009.

Catalyte LLC:   Founded in 2008, Catalyte is developing technology to generate electricity without carbon dioxide exhaust. The company is based in Arlington.

Saylent Technologies Inc.:   Founded in 2006, Saylent makes payment software for businesses. The company is based in Franklin.

Blue Stream Laboratories Inc.:   Cambridge-based Blue Stream performs product characterization and analytical testing services for the life sciences industry. The company was founded in 2006.
