TASC takes on $43M for Navy network job

TASC Inc. has landed $43.5 million from the U.S. Navy for work on a battlefield intelligence network, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Under the contract, Andover-based TASC, (The Analytical Sciences Corp. Inc.) will maintain the U.S. Marine Corps’ topographic production capability system (TPC). The TPC is a mobile, modular network of systems that gives a marine commander real-time control of the Marine Air Ground Task Force/Geospatial Information and Geospatial Intelligence.

Work on the contract will be performed in Stafford, Va., and is expected to be completed by July 2014.
