
Dynamics Research Corp. reports it has landed a $1.6 million deal from to provide training and support to the Royal Saudi Air Force.
Dynamics Research (Nasdaq: DRCO) won the deal from prime contractor Vangent Inc., a Virginia-based IT company which initially won the contract from the U.S. Air Force. Under the deal, Dynamics Research will assist Vangent with the conversion of more than 1,400 training modules to a web-based e-learning platform. The web-based modules are intended to improve the speed and performance of RSAF’s training courseware and reduce management and maintenance issues. Dynamics Research will also provide an onsite training manager for system technical support and to train instructors on the operation and functionality of the platform.
Last week, Dynamics Research landed part of a $50 billion contract from the U.S. General Services Administration for IT management consulting, engineering and other services for federal agencies.
Last month, Andover-based Dynamics Research won a $3.7 million task order to provide continued program management and logistics support for the 417th Supply Chain Management Squadron at Ogden Air Logistics Center in Utah.
Dynamics Research was founded in 1955. The company reported a net loss of $1.25 million on revenue of $242.8 million for fiscal 2008.
