Solomon Pond Park pulls in new leases

Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC represented BGI Holdings III LLC in four leases totaling 140,466 square feet at Solomon Pond Park in Marlborough. The tenants in the leases are AREVA NP Inc., Blue Cod Technologies Inc. and Park Place International. AREVA has leased 43,709 square feet of office space at 400 Donald Lynch Boulevard. AREVA was represented by Robert Walles and Bill Behr of the CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. (NYSE:CBG).‎Blue Cod signed two leases at 295 Donald Lynch Blvd., totaling 69,782 square feet. Blue Cod was represented by Hank Amabile and John Coakley of Grubb & Ellis Co. Park Place signed a new lease for 26,975 square feet at 500 Donald Lynch Blvd. The company was represented in the lease by Kevin Hanna of Cushman & Wakefield Inc.


Cross Point wins renewal from Bitwave

Verizon Communications Inc. and Bitwave Semiconductor Inc. renewed their leases with DivcoWest for spaces totaling approximately 80,000 square feet at Cross Point Towers in Lowell. Boston-based Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC negotiated the leases. Cross Point Towers is owned in a joint venture between San Francisco-based DivcoWest and San Diego-based Yale Properties USA. John Wilson, Brian McKenzie, James Lipscomb and Rob Byrne of RBJ represented Yale and DivcoWest in the transactions.



NAI Hunneman has brokered 10,422 square feet of office space to three tenants at 320 Congress St. in Boston’s Fort Point Channel/Seaport District. NAI Hunneman’s Jeffrey Becker, senior vice president and principal, and Bonny Doorakian, senior associate, represented the landlord, Congress Plaza LLC, in all three transactions. Proxy Networks Inc. leased 3,722 square feet, represented by Ryan Hurd of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners. ZMags Inc. leased 3,520 square feet of office space, represented by Tom O’Regan of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners. One7 LLC leased 3,180 square feet of office space, represented by Tom Robinson of Newmark Frank Knight.


Industrial Defender Inc. restructured its lease to expand its headquarters from 7,414 square feet to 20,270 square feet at The Campus at Chestnut Green in Foxborough. Colliers Meredith & Grew’s executive vice president James L. Elcock and associate William C. Lynch represented Industrial Defender in the transaction. Associate Caleb Hudak of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC represented the landlord, VinCo Properties Inc. Specifics of the lease transaction were not disclosed.


IDEX Health & Science (NYSE: IEX) recently signed a lease with commercial real estate and construction firm Campanelli Companies. Campanelli will add 80,000 square feet to the Middleborough–based campus, a build-to-suit facility that houses several other large companies. The new facility will serve as one of IDEX Health & Science’s manufacturing facilities.


Covaris Inc. has extended its lease with Cummings Properties LLC and expanded its space by 50 percent to more than 14,000 square feet at 14 Gill St. in Woburn. Cummings Properties was represented by its leasing/property manager Tony Spencer. Covaris represented itself in the lease transaction.


R.W. Holmes Realty Co. Inc. has leased 21,216 square feet to Framingham Heart Study at 73 Mount Wayte Ave. in Framingham. The location is the corporate headquarters for Perini Corp. (NYSE:PCR).‎Craig Johnston and Garry Holmes of R.W. Holmes Realty Co. Inc. represented Perini Corp. in the transaction. Framingham Heart Study represented itself.
