Logan Airport promotes Swiss research in Boston
By Mass High Tech staff
The Consulate of Switzerland will host ScienceSuisse, an exhibition of Swiss research projects, this weekend at Logan International Airport.
The Cambridge-based consulate, known as Swissnex Boston, plans to showcase 25 researchers in fields ranging from biology, astrophysics, robotics and genetics to philosophy, economics, biblical history and criminology. Harvard Graduate School of Design lecturer, Lars Mueller, designed the exhibition, drawing from his Swiss national TV movie series and book.
Members of the Science Club for Girls, an organization working to promote the science aptitude in girls from kindergarten to 12th grade, will unveil exhibit posters with Harvard University and MIT researchers at Logan’s Terminal E.
This is the third ScienceSuisse exhibition at Logan. Novartis AG, based in Basel, Switzerland, recently became the biggest employer in Cambridge. Basel and Boston also share a sister city designation.
