By Mass High Tech staff

Court Square Group, an IT consulting firm for life sciences, information technology and network security, announced it has bought a Pennsylvania-based computer validation business unit of QA Edge Inc. No financial terms of the acquisition deal were revealed.

Court Square Group officials reported the deal as a step in expanding the company’s consulting business along the East Coast, with this latest acquisition growing the business to the mid-Atlantic region. Court Square Group already maintains multiple locations in New England, with its headquarters in Springfield and two more offices in Marlborough and Groton, Conn.

As part of the deal, QA Edge COO Ken McKeown will join the Court Square Group.

Founded in 1995, Court Square Group specializes in the life sciences, manufacturing and financial sectors.

QA Edge develops computer validation and Part 21 CFR 11 training and services, which refers to electronic records.
