DRC lands contract under $17.5B DOD program
By Mass High Tech staff
Dynamics Research Corp. has received a simulation and training systems development contract, for an unnamed amount, through the U.S. Army’s $17.5 billion STOC II program.
STOC II refers to the 10-year U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Omnibus Contract -- the largest Department of Defense multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for simulation and training. Terms of the contract call for one base period and three option periods.
The STOC II program follows the eight-year $4 billion contract, STOC I, that was awarded in 2000. Under STOC I, DRC (Nasdaq: DRCO) landed $11.8 million through the OneSAF program.
Andover-based DRC was founded in 1955. In September, the company reported a quarterly loss of $230,000 on quarterly revenue of $63.5 million.
