Paul Joubert, founding partner of Edge Advisors LLC and a director of Stream Global Services Inc., has been nominated by the Phase Forward Inc. board of directors to join the board. The clinical trials management company also announced the departure of James Cash from his five-year role as director. The board member election will take place on May 8.

Joubert worked more than 35 years at global accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. At PwC, he served both public and private companies, in all levels of maturity, in manufacturing, service and high-tech industries. During his tenure with the company, Joubert held the position of chief of staff to the Vice-Chairman of domestic operations, in addition to his lead roles with PwC’s Technology, InfoCom and Entertainment practice for the U.S. Northeast region.

Phase Forward’s net income, however, was $13.8 million for 2008, compared to $29.2 million in 2007.
