Security and compliance management software company eIQnetworks Inc. has named software industry veteran Mike Sullivan as the Acton-based company’s chief financial officer.
Sullivan brings more than 19 years of experience in financial management to the role. Most recently he was CFO at Ecora Software Corp. Prior to Ecora Software, he served as CFO for Segue Software Inc., where he helped the company’s sale to Borland Software Corp. in 2006 for more than $110 million.
At Segue Software, Sullivan worked his way up to CFO, with roles that included vice president of finance, corporate controller and North American controller. Before Segue, he worked in financial management positions with companies such as Kortec, Bixby International and C.R. Bard.
Last month eIQnetworks closed a $10 million round of financing. New York-based Venrock Associates led the round, which was the first institutional funding for the company.
Venrock partner Mike Tyrrell joined the eIQnetworks board with the funding. Based in Venrock’s Cambridge office, Tyrrell’s New England investments include Digit Wireless Inc., Endeca Technologies Inc., Everypoint Inc., ExtendMedia Inc., Second Rotation Inc., uLocate Communications Inc. and Zoom Information Inc.
Founded in 2001, eIQnetworks in October announced the appointment of Jim Geary as president and Mike Rothman as chief marketing officer. Vijay Basani is CEO.
