Startup Watch: Five you should follow

DandyID.org: DandyID moved from Boulder, Colo., to Providence last August. The company, founded earlier in 2008, makes web-based software that allows users to manage online identities, making them more accessible.

FilePhile: FilePhile provides freem unlimited-size, encrypted file transfers with advanced NAT traversal and automatic error recovery.

HemaQuest Pharmaceuticals Inc.: HemaQuest develops small molecule therapeutics based on its short chain fatty acid derivative technologies to treat anemias and other blood disorders. with an initial focus is on the two most common inherited blood disorders, thalassemia and sickle cell anemia.

Jump to Green Inc.: Jump To Green makes web-based consumer guide software, JumpGauge and JumpProfile, which rate a product based on its environmental friendliness.

Spring Partners: Spring Partners makes Springpad, a free set of online notebooks using the web to help people organize and share information.
