InnoCentive Inc. of Waltham has hired Bonnie Becker as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Becker served as senior category director, health, at Yahoo Inc., where she was responsible for creating, developing, and managing that market category. Prior to that, she worked for Pfizer Inc., where she handled the product management for several product lines including Lubriderm, Sudafed/Sudacare, and Zantac. She also held marketing analyst and manager roles at M&M/MARS, Enamelon and Polaroid.

Software
Copanion Inc. has hired Stephen Royal as chief financial officer of the Andover-based tax software company. Prior to Copanion, Royal served as senior vice president and CFO of OATSystems Inc., which was acquired by Checkpoint Systems Inc. Before that, he served as CFO for CXO Systems Inc., a provider of real-time operational intelligence software (acquired by Cisco Systems), CFO of Net to Net Technologies Inc., a provider of network access solutions (acquired by Paradyne Networks) and CFO of Engage Inc.

Networks
Network management company Ipanema Technologies Corp. of Waltham has named Kevin Lang to the new position of vice president of corporate development. Lang has more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, including with IBM Corp.

Services
Boston-based IT services brokerage firm OnForce Inc. has named Maria Battaglia senior vice president of marketing, Edward McGovern senior vice president of sales and business development and George D’Errico vice president of marketplace operations. Battaglia joins OnForce from Weplay.com, where she headed marketing for the youth sports social networking company. She previously served as vice president of brand integration and partnerships at Monster.com and worked at NBC as a corporate vice president of communications and public affairs. Previously, Battaglia was in IBM Corp.’s Internet division. McGovern was most recently at EMC Corp. in its enterprise division, where he was responsible for sales groups delivering storage, software and professional services solutions. McGovern has also led sales organizations for Danka Office Imaging, Advent Software, Micro Warehouse and Xerox Corp. D’Errico served most recently as senior director of product management, purchasing and supply chain operations for PC Connection. He has also served as national sales manager of AirTouch Wireless.

Trevor Wahlbrink has joined Covington Associates of Boston as an analyst. Prior to joining Covington, Wahlbrink was an associate in the investment management group in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Boston office. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked with a variety of investment management clients but devoted the majority of his time to the hedge fund industry. Wahlbrink is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in both finance and accounting as well as a master’s degree in accounting from Boston College.

Network services firm NetCenergy has hired Michael Brito Jr. as the lead network engineer and Robert O’Day as a network technician. Brito will be responsible for the design, configuration and support of clients’ Microsoft servers. Most recently, he spent more than two years as a systems engineer at FujiFilm Electronic Materials in North Kingstown, R.I. He also worked as an account manager and field technician for ChartLogic, a Salt Lake City company in health information technology. O’Day most recently worked for NRI Community Services Inc. in Woonsocket and for Polaris Management Inc. in Cranston. He also spent six years as a help-desk technician for Woonsocket-based CVS.

Life sciences
Clinical development services firm Halloran Consulting Group of Boston has named Ulrich Elben as vice president, program management and regulatory operations. Prior to joining Halloran, Elben served as chief development officer at Avaant Pharmaceuticals of London. Prior to Avaant, Elben was vice president for strategic development operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc.
